PHOTOGRAPHS by Jeff Shulman
WAKODAHATCHEE WETLANDS, Delray Beach, Florida,
with it's .75 mile boardwalk is an attraction for many Regulars
who include serious walkers, bird watchers, simple strollers and,
of course, the photographers, whose tripods line sections of the
boardwalk. The tripods holding cameras await, like fishing poles
along a shore, for a glimpse of the bobcats that reside there or
for some other wildlife activity, which include turtles, frogs,
otters, alligators and birds. Great blue heron nesting activity
is the major draw in March.
Jeff Shulman, using a 600 mm lens with a 2X converter, making it
it 1200 mm, is one of those photographers. We thank him for sharing
some of his photos, which we've seen beautifully blown up and mounted
on as large as 30" by 40". |
